We hear, almost daily, about gratitude. The mentors are grateful for you. They are grateful they can help you with your Parkinson’s journey, and they are grateful for the joy and satisfaction they get from their conversations with you.
And we hear from you, the mentees about gratitude. Grateful to know you are not alone, grateful to be able to have an open and honest conversation about your life with Parkinson’s and your mentor’s life with Parkinson’s.
Looking down the road at a life filled with Parkinson’s can be daunting; the journey is not easy, but it’s not impossible. Although no one can predict the future with Parkinson’s, the mentors can give you an honest look at their journey.
Having someone to talk to, to bounce ideas off, and to see how they dealt with the same things you are going through is powerful. So is finding the positive elements in a tough situation.
What do you have in your life right now, today, that is powerful and fills you with gratitude?
